*You are strong* Rape is never the victim's fault * No one has the right to abuse you * There are resources available to help you if you or someone you care about has survived violence * You are not alone! * Violence is not a private affair * Be kind to yourself * There is no excuse for abuse * You are strong *

This section of the E-Handbook addresses issues surrounding women's safety at Virginia Tech. Our campus and community already have initiatives in place that provide comprehensive information on topics related to gender-based violence. With this in mind, this portion of the E-Handbook is designed to summarize and provide easy access to already existing resources on these topics where further information may be obtained. Most importantly, in this section you will find contact information for where you can turn if you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, abused, or harassed.
